Bio

Xiaodi Wu is an associate professor in the Department of Computer Science and the Institute for Advanced Computer Studies at the University of Maryland. He is also a Fellow of the Joint Center for Quantum Information and Computer Science. Wu’s research focuses on theoretical aspects of quantum information and computation, which includes classical and quantum cryptography, quantum communication, quantum algorithms and more. He received his doctorate in theoretical computer science from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 2013.
