Bio
Mohammad Hafezi is a Minta Martin Professor with a joint appointment in physics and electrical and computer engineering at the University of Maryland. He is also a Fellow in the Joint Quantum Institute. Hafezi leads a research group that aims to theoretically and experimentally investigate various quantum properties of light-matter interaction for applications in future optoelectronic devices, quantum information processing, and sensing. He received his doctorate in physics from Harvard University in 2009.
