Bio
Jeff Thompson is an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Princeton University. He leads a research group that focuses on isolating individual atoms and ions and engineering strong interactions between them using photons confined to nanoscale optical structures. Thompson received his doctorate in physics from Harvard University in 2014.
