Bio
Balint (he/him) worked as a software engineer in industry for 15 years in various places including Google Cloud and the Google Quantum AI team. Since Fall of 2021 he has been a full-time Ph.D. candidate at Duke University and is advised by Prof. Kenneth Brown. His main research interests are application specific quantum error correction, fault tolerance, and exploring the effect of coherent noise in error corrected quantum systems.
