Edo Waks

Edo Waks is a professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and a Fellow of the Joint Quantum Institute at the University of Maryland. He leads a research group that is working to develop quantum technology based on nanoscale photonic and semiconductor devices for applications in quantum computation, communication and sensing. Waks received his doctorate in in electrical engineering from Stanford University in 2003.
